Michael Petersen - President 

Michael is one of the founders and President of TechPath, one of Microsoft’s leading technology consulting partners.  Michael’s 18 years of business and technology leadership has made TechPath one of Microsoft’s top go-to partners nationwide to support all aspects of integration across Microsoft’s application platform.  His early adoption of leveraging technology to meet business demand led him to start TechPath to bring deep dive resources throughout their clients’ entire engagements.

Prior to starting TechPath, Michael spent 9 years at Microsoft holding various positions.  For the last 3 years of his tenure there, he was one of two top specialists traveling the country to impact customer adoption within the demanding Communications Sector, representing top corporations within Media & Entertainment, Publishing & Advertising, and the Telecommuications industy.  Developing key relationships with these senior executives along with all facets of Microsoft management, is what made Michael so successful.  Prior to Microsoft, he spent several years in the fast paced world of high finance in New York City, as a successful architect and developer.

Ashkan Daie - Chief Architect

Ashkan brings over 15 years of  business and technology expertise to his role as Chief Architect and Founding Partner at TechPath, both a Microsoft Gold and IBM Partner.  For the past 2 years, Ashkan has been instrumental in building better business solutions for the numerous clients of TechPath.  His ability to quickly assess technology environments combined with his expertise to solve complex customer issues, allows him to deliver solutions faster and more effectively.

Prior to starting TechPath, Ashkan has worked as an Independent Consultant for 15 years specializing in custom software development, business consulting, and technology strategy.  Past roles have included Principal Architect and Chief Architect.  His projects have pioneered new uses for technology that led to business improvements in diverse industries such as healthcare, media & entertainment, real estate, insurance and manufacturing.  Companies that have benefitted from Ashkan’s expertise include:  IBM, HP, Lucent, Disney, National Pen, HealthCare Partners, and others as well.

Ashkan’s expertise is focused on the Microsoft technology platform leveraging solutions such as SharePoint, BizTalk, .Net, Commerce Server, and SQL Server.  He can also work with the J2EE side of the house, and has experience with Business Intelligence as well.
