The core architecture is based on an enterprise service bus leveraging BizTalk, WCF and .Net technologies.  Existing investments are wrapped in WCF or natively integrated into the bus leveraging BizTalk’s extensive adapter library.  Key capabilities such as Transcoding, Reliable File Transfer, DRM, Finger Printing, Watermarking, Closed Caption generation and extraction, Audio Extraction and archival are integrated through third party best of breed vendors. 

Since workflows are controlled by BizTalk end to end analytics can be monitored through BizTalk Activity Monitoring.  Milestones, data and metrics are pushed into SQL Server’s Business Intelligence layer and ultimately surfaced through SharePoint leveraging Performance Point technologies.
